He is the son of John Paradis and Amelia DeMarse. Bill was proud of all the teams he coached and the students he mentored, and his peers respected and admired him greatly.
In addition to his love for his family, career, and coaching, Bill was an active golfer and a devoted Indianapolis Colts fan. He has been cremated, as was his wish.
Bill was born in Queens, New York, in 1946 to his parents Grace (DeNicola) Paradis and William Paradis.

William “Bill” Paradis III, 76, of Groton, CT, passed away on April 19, 2023.
Bill attended Colonia High School in Woodbridge, NJ, then went on to study education and psychology at Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University), where he received a Master's degree in 1972.
Bill had a deep love for his family and cherished them above all else. He was also survived by three great-nieces: Alisa Paradis, and Paige and Mia Giannone.
Bill was a special education teacher at Bacon Academy in Colchester, CT, where he started the wrestling program and was an enthusiastic coach.

Bill’s Colts fandom began as a child when he and his father bonded while rooting for the then-Baltimore Colts. His legacy will live on through the memories of those he loved, and those who loved him.
