Spring 2023

An exhibition organized by The Poetry Foundation titled Alex Katz: Collaborations with Poets opened on February 18th at 2pm CST, the event featured a reading by Vincent Katz.

On March 22nd, The Poetry Project hosted Happy Birthday Gerard Malanga! and featured the work of Gerard Malanga, with a Q&A hosted by Vincent Katz.

On April 12th, the New York Studio School hosted a lecture by Vincent Katz titled Big Sky: Possibilities Within Poetry & Visual Art.  In this lecture Katz will "highlight the work of poets who edited journals or magazines in the 1960s and ‘70s that combined visual art and poetry on their pages, creating venues where diverse modes of expression could meet and commingle".

A Possible Epic of Care: Poetry Reading with Andrei Codrescu and Vincent Katz hosted by the Milton Resnick and Pat Passlof Foundation on November 30th will feature Andrei Codrescu and Vincent Katz reading from their new collaborative poem A Possible Epic of Care, published by Black Widow Press.

The poets will be introduced by curator and Program Director, Alex Paul Chapin, and the reading will be followed by a reception and book signing.
