After two years, her perseverance in the face of consistent rejection were rewarded; she signed a three-book deal with HarperCollins. She joined the faculty of The University of Alabama in January 2014.

Undergraduate Students

Currently, she has written, acted and produced her first one-woman sell out show at the Tristan Bates Theatre, London and is writing a series for the BBC. Preethi is MD of Kiss the Frog, a company that takes storytelling to organisations and teaches storytelling and personal leadership at Cranfield University and the FT/IE Corporate Learning Alliance.
Most recently, Preethi wrote, acted and produced her first West End stage play “Sari: The Whole Five Yards.”
Preethi has spoken at many business conferences but most notably; she delivered the keynote to the Women in Wall Street Conference to 3,000 women on "Overcoming Obstacles.".
Nair is a multi-wavelength observational astronomer investigating the formation and evolution of galaxies. I recorded the presentation using screen capture with QuickTime (or Panapto). Hope this helps.

How I created a custom timer video background
I used Keynote in practice presentation mode to show slides with a countdown timer.
I edited and compressed the videos with ffmpeg to cut the movie down to only the full screen timer portions of the video.

Bio
Preethi left her job as a management consultant to set up her own publishing and "international" PR company after her manuscript, Gypsy Masala, was rejected by most publishers.
She has also shared a platform with Sir Bob Geldof on “Talking Less and Doing More”.
Preethi Nair
Preethi Nair (born 1971) is a British author of Indian heritage. Born in Kerala, India, she came to the United Kingdom as a child. Nobody else knew of her plan.
Dr. Working as several different people and with a frenetic double life, Preethi at times felt she had truly lost the plot. She worked as a management consultant, but gave up her job to become a writer.
Preethi Nair's first novel, Gypsy Masala, was rejected by several publishers. I created videos with a countdown clock that can be used as video backgrounds with Zoom.
Nair received her doctoral degree from the University of Toronto in 2009. I am including my 5 minute + 1 minute timer here for general use. When the speaker’s time is up the background slide transitions from the plain red background to a black background and counts up to 1 minute. of Planetary Sciences
