Due to the huge success of the film they’ve even named their first born daughter after the name of Urmila Matondkar’s character in the film Jhanvi.
1998 – 2011: A 14 Year Hiatus
After marriage Sridevi has taken a hiatus from Bollywood, even though there were big offers from big film makers like Yash Chopra, Subhash Ghai and others, Sridevi decided to stay away from cinema to raise her child and take care of her family.

When Chiranjeevi was asked why his film did not make better business than the Hindi version he said “Because Laadla had Sridevi”!
Sridevi had no releases in 1995.
