She can currently be seen in two cinema productions: In the award-winning film “Rickerl” (director: Adrian Goiginger) alongside Voodoo Jürgens and in “Am Ende wird alles sichtbar” (director: Peter Keglevic). Her roles have included Alpha in Robert Musil’s “Vinzenz und die Freundin bedeutender Männer” (directed by Jürgen Kaizik), Gabriele in Arthur Schnitzler’s “Weihnachtseinkäufe/Anatol” (directed by Joseph Lorenz), Célimène in Molière’s “Der Menschenfeind” (directed by Dora Schneider), Konstanze Mozart in Peter Shaffer’s “Amadeus” (directed by Dominik Wilgenbus) and Emma in Harold Pinter’s “Betrayal” (directed by Werner Schneyder).

Among her frequent collaborators are composer Gary Shepherd, light designer Minna Tiikkainen, costume designer Jessica Helbach, playwright Magne van den Berg and artistic assistant Justa ter Haar. In Jérôme Savary’s production of Ferdinand Raimund’s “Der Alpenkönig und der Menschenfeind”, she appeared both as Sophie Rappelkopf and as a chanson singer.
Her most recent work includes the highly successful Netflix and BBC one mini series THE SERPENT where she stars as Dagmar Boeder opposite JENNA COLEMAN and TAHAR RAHIM as well as Adrian Goiginger’s latest feature film, RICKERL.

Nicole Beutler, born in Vienna, received classical ballet training from the age of 4.
In 2014, with Keren Levi and Andrea Božić, she initiated Come Together, a gathering for the performing arts of Amsterdam.[6] In 2015 Nicole Beutler was one of the independent makers that founded BAU, a platform for the independent dance and performance scene in Amsterdam.[7]
In 2019, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Nicole Beutler Projects, the company announced an art book containing essays, interviews and behind-the-scenes insights into Nicole’s work.[8] The jubilee was also marked by a weekend-long festival NBcollection where various of her shows were performed, in multiple theaters of Amsterdam.[9]

Nicole Beutler has created various performances by herself and in numerous collaborations.
She is the founder and creative director of Nicole Beutler Projects.
Her work is often described as being situated on the threshold of dance, performance and visual arts. She studied acting, dance and singing in Vienna and began her career at various German and Austrian theatres (including Theater in der Josefstadt).
Her first stage experiences included working with directors such as Fritz Muliar, Dietmar Pflegerl and Gerhard Klingenberg.
Since 2009 her work is produced by her own company, Nicole Beutler Projects.
Work
After studying Fine Arts at Münster and München Arts Academies and German Literature at the University of Münster, she began her dance studies at the SNDO, at the Theaterschool in Amsterdam, graduating in 1997.[1]
As a performer, she was part of the cast of the show must go on (2001) by Jerome Bel, among others.
