Miha Pogacnik – World recognized celebrity speaker, Classical concert violinist, Entrepreneur, Cultural ambassador and Leadership guru.
Miha Pogacnik is an exceptional virtuoso, both on the musical stage as well as on the management platform.
Beyond academia, he manages Ecoculture and has directed numerous intercultural festivals, orchestrating over 200 events in crisis areas globally over the last two decades. He introduced a social innovation where international audiences travelled with artists and actively participated in upheavals and transformations on all continents. However, one can not overlook the fact that humanity today equals economic society, hence his strategy to work primarily in the business sphere through his method of interdisciplinary transfer from musical masterpieces to leadership development, inspiring scores of global brands companies like Shell, Novartis, ING, Porsche, Nike and Microsoft, leading business schools, UN agencies and gatherings like Alpbach and World Economic Forum.
His integration intentions are reflected in the European regional development project Terra Parzival with his innovative Macro Violin principle leading to development of Polyphonic European Identity and through it to co.creation of the New European Leadership Style.
Prior to this, Miha Pogacnik developed unique IDRIART movement in 80’s and 90’s, exploring the power of Art in creation of over 200 intercultural festivals in crises areas of the world.
Pogacnik integrates the principles of renewal and change into his presentations, transforming thinking patterns and overcoming barriers that limit creativity and vision. Pogacnik conducts his work across multiple languages including English, German, and Slovene, making his insights accessible to a diverse audience.
Miha started the accordion at age 3 mistakingly playing melody with his left hand; this lead the music teachers to introduce him to play the violin, his lifelong passion.
Miha comes from an entrepreneurial family background; one of his ancestors was Franc Pogacnik « Naval », a famous tenor in Vienna and Berlin in early 20th century.
Miha has owned and played violins made by the most famous violin makers in the world: Vuillaume, Guarneri and Stradivari and contemporary genius Daniel Musek.
At 43, instead of roses he « got to perform in 43 Cathedrals all over Europe in 43 days » leading to his birthday.
For his 56th birthday Miha launched another self challenge in Slovenia performing « 56 Masterpieces ».
Miha’s disruptive method was born in the 70’s while teaching adults with developmental abilities how to listen; only honesty worked.

Miha Pogacnik is the Cultural Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia and a renowned classical concert violinist.
His work has been showcased at significant forums including the World Economic Forum in Davos and in China, the European Economic Forum in Alpbach, Austria, and the World Business Academy. It is his practical insight that creative environments need to be developed, where on a raised resonance platform Art forces attract, “compose” and bind together different social fields.
His approach demonstrates the powerful interplay between creativity and business, earning him recognition as a catalyst for innovation and an experiential leader.
Throughout his career, Pogacnik has collaborated with leadership teams from global companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Bosch, IBM, Microsoft, Coca Cola, Shell, Novartis, BIAH, Electrolux, Unilever, including Ericsson, and the World Bank.

He is also Ambassador of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia and Adjunct Professor of Arts and Leadership in IEDC Bled School of Management. He runs multiple organisations: Ecoculture for Business and NGOs Gandin Foundation and IDRIART for Social Artivism.

With his emotional and human approach in the digital age Miha leads executives through a transformational leadership journey, using the formative forces of music and art. His latest project, Terra Parzival, focuses on developing European regional models through artistic and cultural lenses. This movement originated in the first Chartres Festival d’Ete initiated by Miha Pogacnik in 1981.
Miha Pogacnik was born in Kranj, Slovenia, studied in Ljubljana and Cologne, Germany.
