From his college days at Wake Forest University to co-founding the duo project Salemtown, Dan’s story is one of dedication, resilience, and a deep love for the craft of songwriting.

In 1988, he became a NASA civil servant and worked as an Avionics engineer, project manager, section head, and branch chief before retiring in 2014. He frequently volunteers at local youth centers and schools, serving as a role model and mentor to the younger generation.
