Early Life and Education
Omar Ernesto Semino was born on May 29, 1962, in Rosario, Argentina, to a tango singer father and a pianist mother, whose names remain private to the media.
He sings mainly in German, but also in Spanish, which underlines his international background. Semino Rossi’s latest album, ‘So ist das Leben’, deals with the topic of his sometimes bumpy road through life which ultimately led to his huge success.

GUARANIAN COMMUNITIES
It is here when Semino Rossi decided to help the community by building a school with the support of his fans who, through the Red Cross, have always been present in this project that today for more than 13 years has managed to educate and change the lives of many children.
SUPPORT BEGINS IN IGUAZÚ
In 2011, the then Secretary of Tourism Carlos Meyer invited Semino Rossi to participate and support the Vote for Cataratas with thousands of his fans, at the closing of The New Seven Wonders;leaving Falls as one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, which led to Semino Rossi being given the keys to the city.
Despite the poverty he experienced growing up, the schlager star always described his childhood as a happy time. In the years to follow he spent the summer months in Spain and the winter season in Austria, eventually settling full-time in Innsbruck. Songs such as ’Das verflixte 7.
