During Einstein’s autopsy, pathologist Thomas Stoltz Harvey had removed his brain, reportedly without his family’s consent, for preservation and future study by doctors of neuroscience. In 1946 he proposed a world government in which he saw the only way to achieve continuous peace.
Einstein spent the last years of his life reclusively in Princeton.
