Then a month later Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin came back to him and made him go back to the 11 grade (I forget the reason why). The Government of India had invited him as a special guest for his extraordinary services to society. On Shaikh ibn Baz’s direction, four students were selected from both Jamia Salafia and Jamia Rahmaniyyah to study at the Islamic University of Madinah. There was a dars tonight with Shaykh Abdullah Al-‘Aqeel (he has the shortest chain of hadeeth of anyone living and just recently passed) and my shaykh, Shaykh Wasi, told us the day before that we wanted to go.

Biography of Sh.
Wasiullah ‘Abbaas
It all started after Esha. He later moved to the town of Yusufpur and enrolled in Madarsa Darul Huda and did his further studies in Jamia Rahmaniyyah in Banaras.
In 1966, the Jamia Salafia, one of the largest Islamic universities was established in the city Banaras. The class he was giving was in Urdu so I had to wait until the Eqaamah, but then I was able to affirm that he was going and that I could ride with him.
After we prayed Esha we followed the Shaykh to his car and we started going.
He continues to find solutions to urban mobility issues through his non-profit organizations, Pedal for a Change and The Green Lane Foundation.
