By that date, however, the magazine he had started in 1922 – Studies in the Scriptures – was feeding several of the men who were leading a return to doctrinal Christianity, including Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Douglas Johnson (founder of Inter-Varsity) and, in book form after his death, his writings became very widely read across the world. In 1922 he began a monthly magazine, Studies in Scripture, which ran for 30 years without missing an issue; it never reached a large audience, but it was the source for most of his books.

Pink’s good doctrine was not welcome in many pulpits. He became their pastor in 1926, and was very happy there for some time. His zeal for God’s truth led him to attack careless religion, and to address clearly the reader’s conscience. Although she largely recovered, she could not type anymore. Arthur Walkington Pink was a pastor, theologian, and author.
His first published books were “The Divine Inspiration of the Bible,” in 1917, and “The Sovereignty of God,” in 1918. Both Baptists and Presbyterians in the UK had, in many cases, become sectarian. 4:2).
For a time, Pink lived in the area of California. He became entangled in the occult as a young man and joined a local gathering of the then-popular Theosophical Society.
