Selected One-Person Exhibitions
His first solo exhibition took place in the Escuela Provincial de Artes Plásticas y Ballet, Camagüey, Cuba in 1986.

“Hybrid of Chrysler” has been described as a work expressing “the beauty of resistance” and “excessive creativity”, exploiting imaginatively the minimal resources available on an island whose streets are crisscrossed by almendrones - vintage American automobiles serving as taxis. Segura’s compositions are witty and wry combinations of recognizable and iconic images borrowed from mythology, popular imagery, religious art, and art history, particularly from the Counter-Reformation, the Spanish Baroque, and the work of Caravaggio. Recurring themes in his work include eroticism, religious rituals, and the use of symbols.
