He came to the United States in 2003 and led salat at-Taraaweh in Hawaii at age 16 years old. He taught in their School as well as their Quran memorization school. Currently,Qari Youssef is Assistant Imam and a director of Quranic School at IIOC in california USA ,and teaches memorization, recitation and tajweed.

Qari Youseef recites with 2 riwayat (different styles) Warsh 'an Nafi' and Hafs 'an 'Aasim. Where he studied and completed the memorization of the Quran at a young age, and graduated from a highly qualified Qur’an Institute.
Currently, he is occupied in the position of the Founder and Instructor of Al-Quraa’ Academy, where he diligently practices Quran memorization, recitation, and tajweed.

Qari Youssef Edghouch stepped into this world in Rabat, Morocco and is a unique talent whose psalmody is to reckon for a long long time.

Because I’m particularly picky with Quran recitations (since I myself aspire to be a hafitha of the Quran inshaAllah), listening to Qari Youssef has been spiritually motivating and very helpful when memorizing Quran.
