Watson details his life with the Manson Family in ‘Will You Die For Me?
The Man Who Killed For Charles Manson Tells His Own Story,’ as told to Chaplain Ray. This memoir offers a first-person account of his crimes and spiritual journey, garnering both criticism and praise for its insight into a convicted murderer seeking redemption.
Tex Watson’s Family
Tex Watson’s personal life is complex.
I loved my dog Collie, making friends around town and creating new go-carts. In a delusional state while on drugs, I made the choice to carry out his orders over a 48 hour period, leaving 7 dead at my hands, which I so deeply regret. He married Kristin Joan Svege in 1979 and had four children through conjugal visits until the privilege was revoked. He briefly attended college, but soon dropped out and opened his own wig shop called Love Locs, which quickly failed.
This blind faith in Manson led Watson down the dark path of murder. He has written about his role in the murders, stating that he believes that God has forgiven him.[11] He graduated from California Coast University in 2009, with a B.S. in Business Management.[citation needed]

After my testimony book "Will You Die For Me?" came out in '78, I got married in '79 [not to the chaplain's daughter as rumored], but to a gal who read my book, got saved and started Abounding Love Ministries, Inc. with me and began a family in '82. In 2013, I was stabbed 13 times on the tier by a man, who was trying to make a name for himself [praise God , I made a full recovery].
They divorced in 2003.
While in prison, Watson established Abounding Love Ministries and earned a degree from California Coast University in 2009. If you’re interested in a range of crime-related topics, be sure to subscribe.

Charles Denton Watson is a convicted American murderer and former member of the Manson Family from Copeville, Texas.
Van Houten put a pillowcase over Rosemary LaBianca's head, and the two women tied the electrical cord from a lamp around her neck. Finally, I finished college in 2009 by getting my B.S. in Business Management.
Led by Charles Manson, the cult frequently took drugs and led a nomadic lifestyle. His role in the Tate-LaBianca murders of August 1969 significantly impacted American history.
He escaped execution when the California Supreme Court's People v. "Remember to leave a sign," he told the girls, "something witchy." Watson also was responsible for carrying along and using the bolt cutters, the rope and the .22 caliber Buntline pistol that were used in the murders.[4] Watson alone shot Steven Parent, Jay Sebring and Voytek Frykowski, as well as stabbing the latter two over four dozen times.
LaBianca murders
On the night of August 10, 1969, Manson drove Van Houten, Watson, Krenwinkel, Atkins, Steve Grogan, and Linda Kasabian to an address in Los Feliz, the home of Rosemary and Leno LaBianca.
He attended college for three years at North Texas University in Denton, Texas, and joined the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
