Supporting all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, we provide one-on-one case management, connection, and lifetime support. The team and winning presentation will be announced at the September 2026 Orientation Meeting.
At the October 22, 2025 Dinner Meeting, President of the Leo A. Deegan Inn of Court (“Deegan Inn”), Gabriel “Gabe” White, welcomed all new and returning members to the Inn.
The meeting was held at our regular location, Loft 84, and was preceded with a social where the members mingled.

Judge Reinhold Biography (1957-)
Original name, Edward Ernest Reinhold, Jr.; born May 21, 1957, in Wilmington,DE; son of Edward Ernest Reinhold (a trial lawyer); married Carrie Frazier (a casting director), 1986 (divorced); married Amy Miller, January 8, 2000.

The Family Law Chamber Chats will held on January 21, 2026 in Department F501 of the Riverside Superior Court, Family Law Division.

Justice Richard T.
Fields, Associate Justice of the California Court of Appeals, Fourth Appellate District, Division Two presented a 30-minute MCLE on “Civility and the Law.”
Justice Carol Codrington, Associate Justice of the California Court of Appeals, Fourth Appellate District, Division Two, spoke about her journey as an attorney to Associate Justice.
After a brief recess, Hon.
Sharon Waters (Ret.) and Emeritus Member Peter Mort spoke about the Deegan Inn. Judge Waters was one of the founding members of the Deegan Inn and Mr. Mort was one of the first members of the Deegan Inn.
The social concluded shortly before 8 p.m.
On March 25, 2025, Hon. Dallas Holmes passed away. Matthew Forsse introduced Team Journi, which consists of Hon.
Matthew Forsse, Matthew Kraus, Michael Geller, Diane Mar Wiesmann, Kamola Gray, Christina Godbey, Michelanne Hrubic, and Shane Duncombe. Then it was time for the enrobement to begin.
The oath of office:I, Jeremiah Raxter, do solemnly swear (or affirm)that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California, that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter.
After the administration of the oath, Hon.
Jeremiah Raxter said a few words.
Congratulations Jeremiah! Together.
Deegan Inn members were invited to write down their names and favorite charity on a piece of paper so that a winner could be drawn.
Attorney Master Dawn Saenz was the host of the podcast “Gossip Gavel Experience.” Each part of The Giving Tree provided their experience giving to the little boy, who kept on taking and taking until nothing was left of the tree except for the stump.
Guest speaker, Sharon N. Vidano, a retired criminal defense attorney, provided an interesting discussion on work-life balance and other interesting topics on avoiding burnout titled “Brave Balance: A Wellness Blueprint for Legal Leaders.”
A copy of Shel Silverstein’s “The Giving Tree” was provided on each table and one lucky person from each table was able to bring it home.
At the conclusion of the presentation, Deegan Inn members were invited to score the presentation from a ranking of 1 (worst) to 5 (best).

Gabe revealed the winning team for the 2024-2025 Program Year. He begins his new assignment on April 8, 2025.
Leo A. Deegan Inn of Court Emeritus member Hon. Barton C. Gaut died peacefully at his home in Riverside on February 10, 2025, at the age of 89.

A celebration of life will be held at the UC Riverside alumni center on April 27, 2025 at 3 pm.

The meeting will be held at the Redlands American Legion Post 105 and the cost is $60. Ballots were on the tables and must be returned to the ballot box at the entrance in order to be tabulated and the winner announced by the end of tonight’s meeting.
The Hon. Joseph Campbell Inn of Court has extended an invitation to all Deegan Inn members to attend their annual “State of the Courts” meeting on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, featuring Hon.
Manuel Ramirez, Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division Two, Hon. Lisa M. Rogan, Presiding Judge of the San Bernardino County Superior Court, and Hon. Dean Benjamini, Assistant Presiding Judge of the Riverside Superior Court. He was a past president of Riverside County Bar Association and an Emeritus Member of the Leo A. Deegan Inn of Court.
Project Graduate is seeking educational representatives - responsible adults to be appointed the educational rights holder of struggling foster students in high school. Please RSVP to [email protected] by June 3, 2025.
Judge Pulliam announced that the Deegan Inn was awarded Platinum Status in Achieving Excellence of the American Inn of Court.
