El audio con la supuesta voz de Hugo Chávez está cargado en el sitio web SoundCloud y se difunde en las redes sociales con la intención de hacer creer a las personas que el Comandante sigue "vivo" y que el gobierno nacional supuestamente “engañó” al país con su muerte.

El primer vicepresidente del Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, afirmó que detrás del falso audio “Chávez Vive”, con una supuesta llamada a su hermano Adán el pasado 16 de septiembre, está el “vendepatria y malnacido” de J.J.
Rendón.
En el encuentro con líderes comunitarios y Unidades de Batalla Hugo Chávez de la región central (Aragua, Vargas, Distrito Capital, Carabopbo y Miranda), realizado en el estado Vargas, Cabello aseguró que el audio busca desmoralizar las fuerzas revolucionarias, para que el pueblo no salga a votar en las próximas elecciones del 8 de diciembre.
