Morari Bapu is an Indian spiritual leader and preacher.
His grandfather’s name is Tribhovandas Hariyani. Further, he at young age was also encouraged via letters from his paternal great grand father, Mahamandleshwar Vishnu Giriji Maharaj, who was head of "Kailas Ashram" at Rishikesh, to be proficient in the Bhagvat Gita and the Vedas.[4][5]
Morari Bapu has started his career as a primary school teacher in near by village to Talgajarda, he worked for several years, side by side he was doing Ram Kathas.

He attended an event organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in 1992 and appealed the youth to give their support for the construction of Rama temple in Ayodhya. Narmadaben passed away on 11 June 2025.

The beginning of his spiritual journey starts when he was mere 5 years of age.
.[2] .[3] His grandfather, Tribhovandasji was a great Ram Bhakta (devotee of Sri Rama) and used to make young Morari memorize five verses of the Ramcharitamanas each day, on his way to school and back. He is born in a family following religious traditions called Vaishnav Bava Sadhu Nimbarka Parampara (lineage).
Much good work has been done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, but it is difficult to fulfill the demands of all.
• In 2019, he passed a controversial statement in one of his Kathas he said,
Lord Shiva was the only true Neelkanth and not “ones that had eaten laddus.”
Swaminarayan sect did not take this statement positively as they offer Ladudi (Ladoo) is offered as Prasad, and one of the Swaminarayan is also Neelkanth.He has recited Kathas in more than 800 events in India and abroad including countries like Sri Lanka, Indonesia, South Africa and Kenya to the United Kingdom, United States, Brazil, Australia, Israel, and Japan. Morari Bapu’s grandfather used to teach him five hymns (Chaupais) of Ramcharitmanas daily, and Bapu used to recite it on the way to his school.

Morari Bapu (Gujarati: મોરારી બાપુ, Hindi: मुरारी बापू; real name Moraridas Prabhudas Hariyani) was born on 25 September 1946 in Talgajarda near Mahuva, Gujarat.
In one of his online Kathas in 2020, he appealed people to donate at least 5 crores but received a donation of more than 18 within 6 days of his appeal. Later, he apologised for this statement.
