Karanvir was born in a HinduBrahmin Marwari family.

Karanvir is the only son of Mahendra Bohra, a filmmaker and Madhu Bohra.

In 2007, Bohra changed his name from Manoj to Karanvir. Later Bohra quit the show in July 2015 as the production house of the show planned a 20-year leap. Earlier Bohra and his wife lived at Lokhandwala in Andheri, Mumbai, and in 2014, he shifted to Goregaon, a locality in the Mumbai Suburban district.

Bohra has been involved in cleanliness and meditation activities.

It was in the year 2007 that he changed his name from Manoj Bohra to Karanvir Bohra.

On 3 November 2006, Karanvir tied the knot with the actress Teejay Sidhu at Sri Sri Ravishankar Ashram, Bengaluru.

In 2017, Karanvir and Teejay became parents of two twin girls Vienna Bohra and Raya Bella Bohra.

Career

Karanvir Bohra did his schooling from GD Somani Memorial School, Mumbai. After completing his schooling, he chose Sciences and enrolled in Elphinstone College, Mumbai. He was not good in academics or sports.

• For his controversial exit from the TV series Qubool Hai, he stated that he wasn’t convinced with the show taking a leap in the Season 3. On 19 October 2016, they became parents of twin girls, Raya Bella Bohra and Vienna Bohra.

   

  On 28 August 2020, the couple announced that they were expecting their third child.

  ChildrenOn 21 June 2023, Dipika Kakar gave birth to a baby boy; it was a premature delivery. The show was based on time travel and was much better received than his previous show.
