Throughout his career, Thabani has held senior roles in both the private and public sectors, including positions at Daimler Chrysler, Unilever, KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Treasury, and as CEO of his own firm, Thabani Zulu & Co. He is currently the Chief Executive of Thee Accountants (Pty) Ltd and a Director at Stella Lumen (Pty) Ltd.
Thabani has extensive experience in governance, having served on various boards and audit committees, including UKZN, Umgeni Water Board, and the Council for Medical Schemes.
His leadership in governance structures has been complemented by his contributions to publications, including books and journals on financial management and business.
