More a curiosity piece than anything else I would think that the film makers probably could have not included this in the retrospective of Beckett's works, but then again they were trying to film everything.

    The Beckett on Film project, which includes nineteen stage plays, is an indication of how Beckett’s work’s journey from stage to screen can be creative, attractive, and entertaining.

    I don't know, the original installation probably benefitted from being experienced in the first person, the transition to a fragmented screen piece doesn't really work.
    Everyone can in someway relate to the sensations elicited from hospital and construction waste, we have all at one time or another played or lived in/near a construction site, we have all at one time or another been admitted to hospital/visited an ailing loved one in hospital.
    The accumulative memories of these experiences should resonate, and experiencing that first hand with all the senses that flare up with those memories can be powerful.
    But yeah...like so many installations preserved on film they'll never serve more than a archive of their existence, and this does even less than that.
