The Academy of Performing Arts, University of Sarajevo informed the public on 4 April, 2021 of passing away of esteemed colleague, editor Miralem Zubčević.
He was born in 1951 in Sarajevo and graduated editing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in 1989. His rich filmography as an editor includes feature films, including: “Djeca”, “Do not forget me Istanbul”, “Snijeg”, “Ljubav na granici”, “Kardinal od Bosne i Hercegovine” and “Smrt u Sarajevu” and short feature films: “Kako je Ilija Ladin predavao Njemački”, “Snovi”, “Sjever je poludio”, “Naprijed, nazad”, “Prvo smrtno iskustvo” i “Kako je pukao Pjer Žalica”, also including short documentaries: “Tiše”, “Heroin”, “Očima vojnika”, “Dnevnik graditelja”, “Povratak”, “Slike s ugla”, “Sjećaš li se Sarajeva?”, “Crvene gumene čizme”, “Insert iz nebodera”, “Tragovi zla”, “Portret umjetnika u ratu”, “Križni put u Sarajevu”, “Osam godina kasnije”, “Vatre Sarajeva” and “Karta za prošlost”.
