Mark currently serves on the boards of a number of privately held high-technology corporations in Silicon Valley and Israel.

Mark Leslie is a Lecturer in Management at the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he teaches courses in Entrepreneurship, Sales Organization, and Ethics. During his tenure as Chairman and CEO, the company went from 12 employees to 6,000 employees deployed globally, and from a revenue base of $95,000 per year to $1,500,000,000 per year.

 He is also a Lecturer in Management at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he teaches courses in entrepreneurship, ethics and sales organization.

Mark was a founder, chairman and CEO of Veritas Software, helping to build the company over his eleven-year tenure to 6,000 employees and annual revenues of $1.5 billion.

From 1980 until 1990 he served as president and chief executive officer of two Silicon Valley high-tech start-up companies. Mark received a Bachelor of Arts degree in physics and mathematics from New York University in 1966 and completed Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development (PMD) in 1980.

Mark is currently the Managing Director of Leslie Ventures, where he is a very active investor in ultra-high technology companies.

Mark currently serves on the board of a number of privately held high-technology corporations, including Big Switch, Liquid Robotics, Nutanix, Pure Storage, Seamicro Systems, Skybox Imaging, SugarCRM, and Xsigo Corporation. Mark Leslie was the founding Chairman and CEO of Veritas Software. In addition he serves on the boards of nonprofit organizations NYU Board of Overseers, NYU Science Advisory Board and Leslie Family Foundation.

His prior experience included sales management, sales executive, systems engineer, and operating systems software engineer. In 2000, Veritas was the 10th largest independent software company by revenue, third largest by market capitalization, and achieved the distinction of becoming a Fortune 1000 company. In addition, Mark serves as a board member of Stanford Health Systems (Hospital and Medical School).

Mark received a Bachelor of Arts degree in physics and mathematics from New York University in 1966 and completed Harvard Business School's program for management development in 1980.

Mark currently serves on the boards of a number of privately held high-technology corporations.  Over the past twenty-five years Mark has served on over fifty boards of directors, both public and private.

Mark serves on the board of Directors of Stanford Health Care (Hospital and Medical School) and the  NYU Board of Trustees.
