But this does mean it can be a little tricky to get to Paros if you’re coming from further abroad.

First, you’ll need to fly to the nearby city of Athens, and then catch a ferry or domestic flight to Paros. Expect 2010-level speeds

  • You’ll likely be covered by the Schengen Visa, which gives you 90-days travel in Europe, per 180 days

  • In Greece, siesta / mesimeri occurs between 2 pm - 5 pm.

    TRAVEL DURING SHOULDER SEASON | Shoulder season is the time before and after the peak season when things are quieter, cheaper, and more enjoyable (especially in the Med!).

    The island has two main ports, Parikia and Pounta, which are connected to other islands in the Cyclades and mainland Greece, primarily through the ports of Piraeus and Rafina. The network is mostly 4G.

  • Wi-fi is common, but never fast due to the influx of tourists.

    In Greece, and especially on the Greek Islands, the sewerage pipes are antiquated and narrow, and therefore clog very easily. Today, the Museum is housed in a beautiful, renovated neoclassical building with five large halls exhibiting sculptures by Nikos Perantinos.

    How to get in Paros island There are two ways to get on the island: by plane and by boat.
    By plane: You can fly by plane from any European city, to Athens and from some cities to Santorini or Mykonos and then you have to take a boat from there to Paros. Additionally, taxis are available for shorter distances or when bus services are limited.

    Although they’re far from the action, they have their own appeal.
