Started doing watercolors in 1981 after seeing an exhibition by Joseph Raffael at the Mint Museum, Charlotte, NC and was inspired to go into Fine Arts.

We later opened an Illustration / Design Studio, " Twoday Design " for 7 years. “The Florida Contemporary.” The Florida International Magazine. Studied with artist Mark English, Robert Heindell and Bernie Fuchs "Illustrators Workshop ", Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY.

Arless and his wife Patsy currently live in Raleigh, NC.
