Finding these classes has been a very positive experience for our family and a boon for our children’s academic success. I am truly amazed at how well they write. Anna-Maria seems to have mastered the ability of combining a rigorous curriculum with a fun, laid-back environment. Lane’s Advanced Grammar and Writing classes over the past few years have been simply phenomenal.

She knows her craft exceptionally well. I am a certified teacher (Oklahoma 1-8, Florida 1-6, and Florida 6-12 English) with 13 years of experience teaching language arts in public schools, private schools, and homeschool co-ops and 13 years of experience homeschooling my children. This class has also been a great intro to the concept of having work graded and learning to manage independent work.

She is confident and I love it!  –Parent of a middle school student and a high school student

We have been using Self-Paced Grammar and Writing Workshop with my oldest child, who started in 7th grade and is now in 8th. He’s naturally a kid who enjoys writing, but I feel like understanding sentence structure has encouraged him to use better word choice and has greatly improved his writing.

My name is Anna-Maria Lane. They have grown so much since they started taking your classes. –Parent of a middle school student

  • Digital Readiness,
  • Digital Technologies (Endnote, PebblePad, Panopto etc.),

She uses an iterative process that includes working assignments, grading, correcting, and re-grading that helps the students focus on their weaker areas more effectively than if assignments were simply graded and returned. –Parent of an upper elementary student and a middle school student

Anna-Maria Lane’s classes have been wonderful for our children during their first year of homeschooling. I have been very impressed with how much is covered, and I have learned a few new things myself!

Welcome to The Grammar and Writing Workshop! When one of my children started taking classes with you, she struggled so much with reading and writing.

The schedule of workshops and drop-in sessions for Semester 1, 2025, can be found in our workshop schedule booklet.
