Establishment of Jain University
In 1990, Roychand founded the Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College in Bangalore, which has since become one of the city’s most prestigious educational institutions. Chenraj started The Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College in Bangalore in the year 1990 at VV Puram which till date remains as the well known colleges in the city. Roychand's entrepreneurial journey began in 1982 with the establishment of 800 retail outlets, which required relatively modest investment. By scaling its operations and continuing to support emerging entrepreneurs, the center seeks to drive substantial growth and innovation in various sectors.

Roychand is a dedicated philanthropist, demonstrated by his initiation of Jain Vidyaniketan in Kanakapura, Karnataka.

This goal reflects his commitment to expanding the center’s reach and furthering its mission of fostering entrepreneurial success. Drawing from his own early experiences as an entrepreneur, Roychand leverages his expertise to identify and cultivate passionate individuals who are capable of driving significant growth.
This school provides free education and full facilities to children from 180 underserved villages, with an annual budget of ₹35 million. Here, the person who is mentoring is more important than the investment."

The centre has so far incubated 50 companies where the companies are trained to identify an idea, understand hi-tech markets and emerging technologies.He also plans to establish 20-25 sports schools across India.
