Entrepreneurship can be a solution to social problems related to corruption and unemployment because it has the opportunity to create jobs. He joined Ciputra Group since 1993 as Senior Architect of PT Candrasa Pranaguna (1997-1999) and once serviced as General Manager of PT Candrasa Pranaguna (2002-2009). Corporate Finance Senior Manager (1996-1999), Corporate Secretary of PT Ciputra Development Tbk (1994-2002), and Deputy Director of Ciputra Group (1999-2001).
His professional career in Ciputra Group started in 1990, and has served as Corporate Secretary, then he served as Director of PT Ciputra Development Tbk and currently he served as the head of REI for Jakarta. At the international level, he served as President of INTA (International Urban Development Association) for the period of 2007-2013.
Aside from serving as Vice Chairman of Habitat Kemanusiaan Indonesia Foundation, the holder of Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Catholic University of Parahyangan, Bandung, MBA degree from Management Institute of Prasetiya Mulya, Jakarta, Master of Science from University of College, London, England and Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from University of Connecticut, USA also actively serves as management of several organizations such as AYUB and University of Ciputra Entrepreneurship Center.
Cautiously Ciputra saw that Indonesia still needs so many entrepreneurs to spur economic growth as well as to improve the nation’s competitiveness.
Recently, Ciputra Group, through the Ciputra Entrepreneurship Foundation, has worked with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry to provide entrepreneurship training for social forestry supporters and communities targeted to reach 12.7 million ha.
The Founders Day 2017 event also features educational and business seminars, as well as a moment of appreciation to employees with a working life of 15 to 30 years.
