His passion for music began at an early age, learning to play the guitar at eight years old. By the age of eight, Garrix became interested in the DJ culture after witnessing Tiesto's performance at the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Athens. In 2025, he is headlining massive festivals and will perform at Gunnersbury Park in London on August 16, 2025, marking his first UK show in seven years.
