The band kicked off 2023 with their viral single, “My Stupid Heart” which marks their most successful single to date – garnering 1 million weekly streams, 1 billion YouTube views, 200 million TikTok views and counting, performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!and Live with Kelly & Mark, anda remix versionfeaturing Lauv.
The chemistry between band members Gianni, Sarah, and Joel is infectious and undeniable as Joel’s driving and prolific percussion work and Gianni and Sarah's remarkable vocal talents continue to exhilarate fans across the globe.
They received the Juno award for Group of the Year in 2016.
In support of their new album the band did a small promo tour doing interviews and acoustic sets at several radio stations across America and Canada. was released in March 2013, and the album Sing It All Away was released in 2015.
On December 30th 2018 the band announced on social media that Mike Taylor had passed away.
Walk Off the Earth is an indie rock band which formed in Burlington, Ontario, Canada in 2006. Their second, My Rock was released in 2010. Their 2017 song "Fire in My Soul" was certified gold. Blackwood was also a member of the psychobilly band The Creepshow.
The band has gained success around the world by making low-budget music videos of covers and originals and built their fan base independently with no help from record labels, booking agents or management.
In the past few years alone, they have headlined Red Rocks Amphitheater and Wembley Arena, sold out the historic Sydney Opera House, notched a top-10 single in Canada for 30 straight weeks and made it all the way to the top of the Pop Albums chart in the US.
They’ve collaborated with artists from all genres including Snoop Dogg, Sarah Silverman, Keith Urban, Steve Aoki, Lukas Graham, Lauv, Lindsey Stirling, and many more; sold millions of copies of their recordings and racked up billions of streams along the way. Ryan Marshall left the group in December of 2019.
