Early Life and CareerRichard Gere, a talented actor, humanitarian activist, and sex symbol of the 80s and 90s, was born in Philadelphia, USA in 1949.
Gere and Lowell announced that they were separating in 2013, with the divorce finalized three years later.
In 2018, Gere married a third time, to 35-year-old Spanish publicist and activist Alejandra Silva. It was not until a couple of days later, when she saw her photo on the cover of a newspaper, that she realized she had unknowingly offered food to a film star.
The following year, Gere landed a starring role in Terrence Malick's epic Days of Heaven.

Gere became an actor on the rise in the 1980s. He left school after two years to explore his interest in theater. The romantic movie "Pretty Woman," where he starred alongside the incredible Julia Roberts, became legendary.
