This shows the police can never be off guard when protecting our Royal Family.”
Princess Kate shares new video celebrating nature and reflection
Princess Kate released a new short film on the Prince and Princess of Wales' official Instagram account Saturday, marking the next in her nature-focused video series.
The Princess of Wales is featured throughout the clip, walking through woodland areas and cooking outdoors with children.
The group, supported by the youth charity Go Beyond, gathered in Windsor Great Park to bake bread, share food and spend time around a bonfire.
Following the release of the new video, Go Beyond shared the film on their own Instagram account, writing:
"We've been keeping a BIG secret!
Following the incidents, a man called Derek Egan, 39, was charged with two counts of trespassing on those dates. The Attorney General needs to consider any further security risks before granting consent to prosecute.”
Former head of the Met Police’s Royal and Specialist Protection branch Dai Davies told The Sun: “The fact he repeated the offending after being given bail, given the nature of it, gives serious cause for concern.
“The police must work out what level of danger the Royal Family were in, and based on the charges, why on Earth he was given bail?”
“Any attempt to get into Kensington Palace needs careful investigation into the motive, any mental health concerns, and if the person is fixated on a royal.
Our heartfelt thanks to Princess Catherine for her kindness in inviting us and sharing our work, and to the children who joined us from Farley Junior Academy."
In the narration, Kate describes autumn as a period of "refinement" and draws a parallel between the natural environment and human experience, noting that as trees shed their leaves, people also learn to release what they no longer need.
The film frames the cooler months as an opportunity for "reflection, growth and deeper connection."
The new video follows an earlier short film released in April 2025, part of the Princess’s ongoing effort to promote the benefits of time outdoors.
The association with Mario Testino is a case in point. She has featured in a number of best dressed lists. Due to public interest it seems unlikely she will be able to lead a normal day to day life again.
In October 2005 she complained (through her lawyer) of constant media harassment, stating that she had done nothing significant to warrant such publicity and in 2006 it was announced that she would receive her own security supplied by the Royalty and Diplomatic protection department.
This year, they faced several challenges and changes, from ongoing family drama to Kate Middleton beating cancer. I’m glad this man has been caught. Since that time she seems to have become more adjusted to intense media attention.
This attention has led to many rumours and stories about her (most of which are probably inaccurate but serve to sell tabloids and glossy celebrity magazines).
Princess Kate - Breaking Up and Making Up!
In April 2007 Prince William and Kate Middleton broke up for a time the story being widely reported.
They dropped a batch of 12 pictures highlighting memories and milestones they’ve made throughout the year in a post shared to their joint Instagram account on December 30.
“Some unseen favourites from 2025,” they captioned the post, which features photos with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Some highlights include the Prince and Princess of Wales attending the Irish Guards St Patrick’s Day Parade, Kate presenting Jannik Sinner with the men’s singles Wimbledon Championship, and the family pulling up to the Welsh Guard Christmas party at Combermere Barracks.
According to People, the Prince and Princess of Wales and their kids will be ringing in the new year by “settling in” to their new family home at Forest Lodge, which they moved into this fall.
It was while at University that she first met Prince William.
In 2006, Kate began to work for the clothing chain Jigsaw as an accessory buyer, but gave up this job the following year announcing that she wished to become a professional photographer. A group of children supported by Go Beyond were invited to take part in a special day at Windsor Great Park as part of the filming for Mother Nature, a project led by HRH The Princess of Wales to celebrate the changing seasons across the UK, reminding us of the importance of nature to our wellbeing.
Intruder in custody after climbing into Prince William and Princess Kate's home twice
A man has been caught twice on the grounds of Prince William and Princess Catherine's Kensington Palace.
Mario Testino has taken a number of famous royal portraits and so this seemed to be accurate but later he denied that he was teaching her and the story died.
Princess Kate - Media Sensationalism
Ever since the relationship with Prince William was made public Kate has been both hounded by and sensationalised by the media making accurate information hard to come by.
This friendship seemed to grow again through the years and again the media speculated that the relationship had been rekindled.
Prince William and Kate Middleton Just Dropped 12 Unseen Photos to Celebrate 2025
- Prince William and Princess Kate are celebrating New Year’s Eve by giving fans a rare glimpse into their lives with a photo dump.
There are still a number of royals living at Kensington Palace, so any intrusion is of course concerning. The intruder, who is said to have been carrying " a heavy rucksack", was caught in the gardens twice just days before Christmas.
Officers from the Met Police Royal and Specialist Protection Command discovered him on December 21 and 23.
She went on to study Art History at the University of St Andrews, in Fife (Scotland) where she graduated with a 2:1 (Hons).
