Mugdha Mishra, formerly an Editor at Haymarket SAC Publishing and previously an Associate Editor and anchor with CNBC Awaaz, has assumed the role of Editor Auto at NDTV India.
Commencing her career in 2005 as a Senior Research Analyst on the Editorial Desk at CNBC Awaaz, Mishra led a team of 10 analysts providing round-the-clock research inputs.

Mugdha Mishra, Associate Editor and well-known Anchor who was associated with CNBC Awaaz for over a decade has stepped down from her role.
Confirming the news to e4m, Mishra said, “Yes I have moved on from CNBC Awaaz and now I will be covering auto for a leading digital platform.”
Mishra started her career as Senior Research Analyst, Editorial Desk, with CNBC Awaaz in 2005 where she led a team of 10 analysts that fed research inputs on a 24x7 basis.
In 2008 she joined Bloomberg-UTV--(A JV between UTV group and Bloomberg, which was later called BTVi) as Sr.
Research Analyst, Editorial Desk and played a key role in conceptualizing market hour shows such ‘Beyond the Sensex’ and ‘Mad about Markets’.
In 2009 Mishra joined CNBC Awaaz and served her longest stint of more than a decade. The NDTV app and NDTV.com are the preferred digital platforms for the Indian diaspora.
She later worked with Bloomberg’s Indian business news channel before returning to CNBC Awaaz as a newscaster in 2009.
In 2013, she transitioned into automotive journalism by hosting Awaaz Overdrive, one of India’s most popular automobile shows. In June 2020, she joined Haymarket to lead What Car? India. With distribution in 60 countries, NDTV reaches 38 million households, 60% more than its closest competitor.
