Maritess chronicled the last 25 days she had with her mother. Jillian has also previously shared that Gloria Romero was her “ultimate idol”.
Barbie Forteza has also expressed her grief at Gloria Romero's passing, posting on social media site X that she is heartbroken.
“This is so heartbreaking. But her heart was never in it.
“I didn’t know what I wanted to be for the longest time!” she once recalled with a laugh.

Queen of Philippine Cinema Gloria Romero has passed away on January 25.
As she once candidly shared:
