She also has an elder sister named Maansi Gagroo Jain.Her father, Surender Gagroo was a General Manager at the State Bank of India, whereas her mother, Urmil Gagroo worked as a Teacher in multiple Kendriya Vidyalayas across India & after retiring from her teacher’s job in 2015, she is working as a Freelance Author for Rachna Sagar Pvt Ltd and has authored and co-authored more than a dozen books on English language and Literature for CBSE schools.

While the film flopped at the box office, Maanvi’s acting in the movie was appreciated and she started getting offers.Maanvi Gagroo did a supporting role in No One Killed Jessica (2011) and played the role of Anushka Sharma‘s colleague in PK (2014).
Maanvi was seen with Abhishek Bachchan in the Idea 3G TVC in 2011.

Maanvi proved her acting prowess in the web shows like TVF Pitchers (2015-2022), TVF Tripling (2016-2022) and Permanent Roommates (2016) and she won the Best Actress in a Web Series award for ‘TVF Tripling’ at IWM Digital Awards, 2018.
In 2019, she started playing the role of Sidhi Patel in Amazon Prime Video’s first all-women-protagonists Indian original ‘Four More Shots Please!’ co-starring Sayani Gupta, Bani J and Kirti Kulhari.In an interview with Spotboye in 2019, Maanvi spoke about a bitter experience while auditioning for a role.
