In theater, Joanna is known for her work with the Royal Shakespeare Company, as she played Hannah in the play “Days of Significance”, created by Roy Williams.

He also enrolled at the Central School of Speech and Drama, and during his time there, won the Alan Bates Bursary for 2008.

Career Beginnings

Luke started his career on stage before moving to screen roles. A new production devised by The PappyShow will tour directly to 55 schools across England, and National Theatre Live brings The Crucible, Othello and GOOD to cinema goers around the world.

His debut came in 2008 with a minor role in the British comedy series “The Inbetweeners”, and the same year he also appeared in the Academy Award-winning historical drama film “The Duchess”, about the 18th-century aristocrat Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, starring Keira Knightley, Ralph Fiennes and Dominic Cooper.

Luke continued with minor roles on screen, appearing in such TV series as “Skins” (2009) and “Titanic” in 2012, while in 2014 he featured in the TV mini-series “Our World War”.

Rise to Stardom

Luke’s career was slowly improving, and in 2015 he got the part of Dwight Enys in the TV drama series “Poldark”.

Rehearsal photos have been released for the National Theatre and Neal Street Productions critically acclaimed West End transfer, The Motive and the Cue.  Check out the photos here!

Alongside such actors as Aidan Turner, Eleanor Tomlinson, and Jack Farthing, Luke became a star himself, appearing in 39 episodes of the award-winning series; although he didn’t win any awards, Luke received rave reviews, which only inspired him to further his career.

He was very active in pursuing other roles, and featured in the films “First Born” (2016), as James, and in “Been So Long” (2018), while still being a part of “Poldark”.

Presented at the Old Vic on Thursday 1st June by actor Luke Norris. It then ascends high above the Olivier stage, where it continues to burn for the duration of the play. Baz Bamigboye has revealed that the production is hoping to transfer to the West End and then Broadway.
