In early 2017, the brothers took on their current leadership positions in The Trump Organization as their father began serving as president.
Trump’s daughter Ivanka was also an executive vice president of The Trump Organization, having joined the business in 2005. At age 78, Trump is the oldest person to win the office.
Trump’s conviction took place on May 30, 2024, when a New York state jury found him guilty on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in connection with a hush-money payment in 2016 to the adult-film star Stephanie Clifford, known as Stormy Daniels, who claimed to have had an affair with Trump in 2006.
