Jenny Gump (née Curran) (July 16, 1945 – March 22, 1982) was the childhood friend and later wife of Forrest Gump, as well as the mother of Forrest Jr.

She serves as the deuteragonist of the Forrest Gump novel and film. However, while he is trying to explore the city, he gets mistaken for a protester and gets pushed into making an anti-war speech in front of a huge crowd of people at the Lincoln Memorial.
