She's also considerably shorter than Frankie.

  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: She is the blue oni to Tammy's red oni.
  • Secret-Keeper: The first to learn of Frankie's robot identity. PEGS1 counts in personality terms if not in physical shape.
  • Robot Buddy: PEGS1. But when everyone left the room, Eliza opens her eyes and holds up a plug to the chair, revealing she had unplugged the chair before she could be de-powered, meaning she was not only one step ahead of Siguorney again, but she also faked losing her strength and being shut down to deceive everyone.

Deep down though, he is shown to care for Andrew and even Andrew's best friend and fellow android, Simone.

  • Heel–Face Turn: He goes after Frankie in the first season in attempt to win the "Robel" prize, but has given up the hunt for Frankie in Season 2, and even helps her out on a couple occasions.
  •     Eliza

One of Sigourney's prototype androids and the fifth android overall to be made by her, preceded by Frankie.

She tries to physically attack Frankie (though the latter's able to defend against all her attacks), and calls her "foolish" and "weak" for listening to her creator, and nearly drains all of her energy out of her.

  • Cain and Abel: If one were to consider Eliza and Frankie sisters, Eliza would be the Cain to Frankie's Abel.
  • Calling Parents by Their Name: When her cover is blown, she starts referring to her creator by her first name.
  • Crazy-Prepared: She manages to be such a formidable opponent to the heroes because she's always several steps ahead of everyone (she is an android after all), and plans just about everything in advance to the point where not even her own creator was a match for Eliza's intellect
    • She'll make use of her surroundings and the objects around her to tie up or hold hostage anyone who discovers her identity, and cover her tracks so no one can easily follow her.
    • This even extends to when Sigourney brings Eliza over to a charging chair, restrains her with straps, and reduces her strength to a 4-year old child, shutting her down until she could deal with her.

As Mr. Kingston, he is given the first name Gilford in Season 1, and Clarence in Season 2.

  • WARPA

        Cynthia Mandal

The leader of WARPA and former friend of Sigourney.
    • Big Bad: Cynthia, being the head of WARPA, is the overall main antagonist of the second season.
    • Evil Redhead: Cynthia has red hair, and is the most evil character in the show.
    • Face–Heel Turn: Before the start of the series, she was friends with Sigourney.

Every artificial intelligence in this series behaves contrary to their creator's expectations, given long enough. Every single episode ends on a suspenseful brush with danger, plot twist, or loaded question.

    • Contrived Coincidence: The head of EGG Labs who wants to get ahold of an android to deliver to WARPA for use as a weapon, just happened to be the father of Frankie's two closest high school friends, allowing said friends to get information far more easily.
    • Cool and Unusual Punishment: When Tammy confesses to framing Robbie for vandalism, her punishment is to grant Robbie three wishes.
    • Crazy Cat Lady: Mrs.

      Hough.

    • Darker and Edgier: Than the original telenovela. When Kingston realises every piece of technology is dead, he attempts to call the external security guards only to discover his mobile phone was disabled as well.
    • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: Used unintentionally by Frankie to defeat Eliza.

Downplayed in that it seems to have less to do with Cole and more to do with reclaiming her "smartest girl in school" cred.

    • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Weaponized Android Research Project Agency.
    • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero!: Mr. Kingston and James wouldn't have been going after Frankie, had Sigourney not shown off her creation to them.

      An Episode Title!

    • Jerkass: James, whose jealousy of Dr. Gaines's success and determination to steal the robotics prize from her leads him to lie, steal data, manipulate a colleague who trusts him, and build his own (far more sophisticated) android, all with the end goal of destroying Frankie so he can scoop Sigourney on the prize.
    • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: When Frankie suggests she resolves her double date dilemma by taking both her choices to the dance, Dayton responds with "you can't do that, this is real life, not a television sitcom".
    • Literal-Minded: Frankie is frequently this, due to being an android.

Meanwhile, Tammy tries to frame Frankie for cheating. Having more chemistry with Cole was just icing on the cake and doesn't come up much.

      • An Andrew/Frankie/Cole triangle develops later, though that one is also pretty downplayed in favor of advancing the main plot.
    • The Man Behind the Man: While she's already a Jerkass in her own right, Tammy is controlled by a WARPA chip in the second season.
    • Manipulative Bastard: James tries to be this.

And she must risk being discovered when a bug in her system forces Frankie to plug herself directly into the school's Internet.

    8.2/10 (35)

Dayton and Frankie bond over a rom-com. Will and Jenny put Frankie at risk of getting a virus. Tammy does dislike Frankie, but her motivation has more to do with Frankie showing her up in the Brain Squad and being a Robot.

Frankie and Dayton eventually came to realize this.

  • Jerkass: She doesn't seem to care at all for anyone's well-being. Frankie, Andrew, and Eliza are especially this. After James reprogrammed him into becoming Frankie's enemy and Andrew fried his circuits fighting against said programming in the Season 1 finale, he began to resent James for turning him against his friend and initially refused to go back home for the sake of staying away from him.

He's also the father of Dayton and Cole.

    • Anti-Villain: He's this in the first season. The Colombian original, even when Franky (with an Y) actually becomes "evil", tends to be a lot sillier.
    • Demoted to Extra: Mr. Kingston, who goes over a Heel–Face Turn, appears noticeably less in Season 2, compared to the first season.
    • Didn't Think This Through: Sigourney programmed Frankie with the following directives: "Don't reveal you're an android" and "Don't lie." It only takes three episodes for these directives to conflict with each other.

Though, to be fair, A, B and C are that way because they aren't fully functional compared to models E and F. Fortunately, only one of them actually turns evil.

      • Inversion: Andrew, who rebels against the sinister intentions of his creator.
    • Androids Are People, Too: Frankie, though her own behavior often conforms more to "moody teenage girl" than "correctly functioning android." Also, Andrew.

Detecting These Tropes Within The Context Of This Series:

      • Abhorrent Admirer: To a mild degree, Tammy is this to Cole, at least early on. The show was cancelled in 2019.
