Our favourite ginger singing marvel revealed that OneRepublic and Foy Vance will be opening for him on the 10th July, Rudimental and Example take the stage on 11th July and his final date on 12th July will be supported by OneRepublic and Passenger.

Ed has previously said that the Wembley dates on his ‘x’ World Tour will be like “mini festivals” and told DigitalSpy that he sorted his support acts early on although he has only just revealed the names on the bill.

He explained, “I actually sorted the support acts before I'd even put them on sale because I never want to play to someone else's crowd and I want my crowd to feel like they have a treat.

The third date is 87% sold so once that's gone I'm gonna announce them. I'm saying here's a wicked support act that you can watch that you didn't know he was gonna be here.”

"It's more of a surprise rather than buying a ticket for the whole day knowing who's going to be there, so I wanted to sell out the gigs before I announced the supports, but I've got three acts every day and they're all multi-platinum.”

Ed Sheeran's lost three T-shirt sizes - find out how he did it...

Ed Sheeran tour support act Calum Scott says gig is 'mind blowing'

Former Hull council worker Calum Scott had to "pinch himself" after securing a slot on Ed Sheeran's world tour.

Scott said the six-month support gig was "an incredible opportunity" to tour with the star.

The singer, who reached the final of Britain's Got Talent in 2015, performed with Take That at the King's Coronation concert in May.

He said Gary Barlow had also messaged him to say "how proud he and the boys were" of him.

The 35-year-old is supporting Sheeran on his world tour, performing in Europe and Asia in 2024.

He told BBC Look North: "I am pinching myself all the time - every time I speak to you I say the same thing, but having these moments in time, I just feel so incredibly lucky.

"To tour with Ed Sheeran for six months - three months in Europe and three months in Asia - is pretty mind blowing," he said.

"When I was working for the council, these were the kind of moments I dreamt of.

Some of them have played Wembley before. The fact that they've come true and to tour with Ed is unbelievable."
