Allegedly a religious cult in Smarden could have been responsible for the Halloween massacre. I’ve also written several historical romance novels. St. Claire has spent a lifetime studying supernatural phenomena and human behavior. Included in the family are a Saint Bernard, an English mastiff, and several cats. The couple have four boys, two girls, and six Doberman pinschers.

Rose On My Pillow, the second book, will be available soon. This classic internet site from the 1990s has everything from vampires to ghosts with a little bit of mystery and science-fi mixed in. My novel, Painter of Dreams, is available on Smashwords.com.

I live in the Midwest with my husband and three sons. He conducted extensive witness interviews and might have been on to something, but unfortunately, he died in a tragic car accident in 1965.

Was his death coincidence or another murder?

Welcome. I’m Bobette Bryan, the author of Painter of Dreams, which is the first book in my North Star Series. Nevertheless, she feels that everyone has a dark side they’d like to express, which is why she started Underworld Magazine.

St. Claire was born and raised in the United States, she now resides in Canada along with her husband, who is a detective. The account of his death varies, but the usual story is that angry villagers had caught up with him and delivered some overdue justice. The following morning, a dog walker discovered the bodies of over 20 people, including 11 children, stacked up in a pile among clusters of leaves.

Far from it, she’s a person of strong faith, and feels that there has always been an angel watching over and guiding her. Due to a hectic work schedule, Ms. Bryan could no longer keep up the magazine; however, the Magazine returned as Underworld Tales in 2004. A chill filled him when he realized that he was gazing at the body of a man hanging in a tree.

Spotting him hiding in the hollow of a tree, they impaled him with a sword or two and decapitated him.

Ghost sightings in the area includes the misty spirit of Lady Dering whose family owned much of the surrounding land. Yes, it’s full of ghosts.

In addition to an ability to connect to deceased spirits, she has precognitive and empathic abilities, meaning she picks up on other’s emotions.

On Halloween night in 1948, locals reported strange lights and sounds emanating from the woodlands.

Just ahead something was moving. Some have even encountered the ghost of a brick factory worker who drowned in clay or was crushed to death.

Not all supernatural encounters involved fully materialized ghosts: Many claim that that during a stroll through the woods spooky, dark shadows or a mist followed them.

The most terrifying stories about the woods, however, are the many unexplained deaths, murders, and disappearances that occurred during the latter half of the 20th century.
