Pratyusha Banerjee was a gorgeous Indian actress.
She also joined the Kitchen Champion in 2011, followed by a short appearance in the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 – Dancing with the Stars in 2012. She wanted to become a model at first but her height became an issue.
She gained her fame and popularity for her appearance as Anandi Jagdish Singh and Anandi Shivraj Shekhar in the drama series, Balika Vadhu – Kachchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishte on Colors TV.
When the actress quit the show, many viewers were extremely disappointed and there were even some fans that signed a petition just to bring Pratyusha back to the show. She stated that she never really thought that she’d become an actress, until she was given a chance to essay the role of older Anandi after a five year leap in BalikaVadhu. This couple had even participated in a reality show called Power Couple, which aired on Sony TV in the year 2015.
In 2012, the actress won the Big Young Entertainer Award for Superhit TV Female Star, and she also won the Most Lokpriya Face at the Golden Petal Awards in 2012.
She had a relationship with actor and business person, Makrand Malhorta but later, she filed a complaint against the actor for threatening and abusing her on the phone.
This beautiful actress however, was later found dead on 1st of April, 2016 in her residence . Pratyusha haddone her first stage show entitled, Kalidas when she was 17-years old. She was born on August 10, 1991 at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. She was offered a film by Vikram Bhatt, however, the actress promised to stick on television only. But she stated that she needed to attend to her ailing mother.
In 2013, she joined the reality show, Bigg Boss 7 but she was evicted on day 63.She made a comeback as Sagarika Chattopadhyay, an NRI who came to India from London in the Hindi series, Hum Hain Na on Sony Entertainment Television, opposite Kanwar Dhillon. She had also done small modeling jobs in Kolkata before she bagged a role in Balika Vadhu.
She was grown up in a traditional Bengali family. Their two-year relationship had ended in 2013.
Pratyusha had a relationship with Rahul Raj Singh, who is a model, actor, and a producer. She was also the winner of the Fresh Face Hunt Competition in the same year. She also acted in the play, Aashad Ka Ek Dinn.
