Followed by his schooling from Saraswati Higher Secondary School, Seoni, he graduated from Rani Durgawati Post Graduation College, Mandla. His passion for music began when he went to Indore Management Institute for his MBA studies.

He was awarded the GiMA Award (2016) for Best Music Debut for Hasi. Seven months later, Vishesh Films selected his song for a film. His father was a government employee and his mother was a housewife. He had a younger brother. The song received widespread acclaim, catapulting him into the spotlight as a talented composer and playback singer in Bollywood.

Being a part of the college band, he participated in reality shows.

After working at a multinational company for some time, corporate life bored him and he turned music into his career. Leaving his job, he began performing at restaurants and private gatherings, honing his musical skills and establishing a foothold in the industry.

Ami Mishra’s breakthrough arrived when he composed the soulful track “Hasi” for the film Hamari Adhuri Kahani.
