Ratchanok Intanon, born on February 5, 1995, is a prominent Thai badminton player who has made her mark in the international sports arena.
She reached the finals of the SCG Thailand Open 2012 but lost to Saina Nehwal 19–21 21–15 21–10 in the finals. She reached the quarterfinals of this tournament for the first time, where she defeated Carolina Marín in a very hard-fought encounter.
