Ladainian Tomlinson was born on June 23, 1979, in Rosebud, Texas.

At Waco High School in Texas, he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. He has been elected to the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, TCU Hall of Fame and in 2014 the National Football Foundation's College Football Hall of Fame

 

Tomlinson attended University High School in Waco, Texas, where he played basketball, baseball, and football.
