    Achal Surinder Kapoor, known professionally as Boney Kapoor, was born on November 11, 1955, in Meerut, India.

    Under this banner, he produced successful films like “Wanted” (2009), directed by Prabhu Deva and starring Salman Khan, which became a blockbuster; “No Entry” (2005), directed by Anees Bazmee; and “Mom” (2017), directed by Ravi Udyawar and featuring Sridevi’s powerful performance.

    Boney Kapoor has also ventured into regional cinema and produced films in languages like Tamil and Telugu.

    Boney Kapoor said,

    It was not a natural death; it was an accidental death. I went through all the tests, including lie detector tests and all those things. He gained valuable experience working on films like “Anurodh” and “Kati Patang.” In 1980, he made his debut as a producer with the film “Hum Paanch.” Although the film did not fare well at the box office, it marked the beginning of Kapoor’s journey as a producer.

    Over the years, Boney Kapoor produced several successful films that achieved both critical acclaim and commercial success.

    In addition to his work in film production, Kapoor has been actively involved in industry organizations, serving as President of the Film and Television Producers Guild of India.

    He is also interested in cricket, owning the Bengal Tigers team in the Celebrity Cricket League. The Dubai police interrogated him regarding Sridevi's death in 2018.
