A new book titled 'Modi Mission' has joined the list of biographies written about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's extraordinary life and political journey, and on Friday.
The book, penned by noted writer Berjis Desai, chronicles PM Modi's extraordinary personal journey from a humble childhood in Vadnagar to the Prime Minister's office (PMO).

BERJIS DESAI, 68, has been practising transactional and dispute resolution laws for the last 45 years.
Mr. Desai is now an independent legal counsel engaged in Private Client Practice, that is, succession and estate planning for HNIs and promoter families through wills, trusts and family arrangements; resolving family, testamentary and business disputes through mediation and confidential fast track arbitration; insolvency and asset reconstruction advisory.

Mr. Desai graduated with first class honours from the Elphinstone College and stood first in the University of Bombay at the LL.B exam.
Mr. Desai is passionate about preserving the heritage of Parsi fire temples and Towers of Silence; and has founded the PARSI ZOROASTRIAN GUARDS OF THE HOLY FIRE (PZGHF).
A former working journalist, Mr.
Desai is a writer and columnist. He also stood first at the Solicitors’ Examination. He retired from JSA on April 1, 2017, upon turning 60. He was awarded the Rotary International Scholarship to study post-graduate law at Cambridge University, U.K. where he secured a Starred First. THOSE PARSIS’ – A to Z of the Parsi Way of life, and ‘The Bawaji’: Chronicles of a Vanishing Community’ have been on the bestseller list of Amazon Essay Books.
His other interest includes breeding of thoroughbred horses and study of comparative religion. His debut novel, ‘Towers of Silence’ was published in 2021; and his crime thriller, Murder at the Racecourse in 2024. Berjis Desai is a highly accomplished legal professional with 45 years of experience in transactional and dispute resolution laws.

Meanwhile, Suhel Seth said that the book provides a wealth of insights into the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and highlights the turning points in his life that led him to this position.
He further said that the book covers PM Modi's childhood in great depth, allowing readers to understand the struggles he faced as a young man and the decisions he made.
According to Seth, the book is not only about PM Modi's achievements, but also about his struggles, and explains how a person from a marginalised community became the Prime Minister of the country and a global leader.
