These two assumptions make up Einstein's special theory of relativity. This revolutionary theory fundamentally reshaped our understanding of space, time, and gravity. At age twelve he discovered geometry (the study of points, lines, and surfaces) and was taken by its clear and certain proofs.
Inventions and their Impact
Albert Einstein is best known for his groundbreaking contributions to physics, particularly his formulation of the theory of relativity. His unconventional approach to learning led to tensions with faculty, and he struggled to find opportunities within academia. This theory found that gravity, as well as motion, can affect time and space.
In 1909, after serving as a lecturer at the University of Bern, Einstein was called as an associate professor to the University of Zurich. His predictions about the bending of light and the warping of space-time paved the way for future discoveries, such as the detection of gravitational waves and insights into the expansion of the universe.

. Einstein soon began building on his theories to form a new science of cosmology, which held that the universe was dynamic instead of static, and was capable of expanding and contracting.Einstein Moves to the United States (1933-39)
A longtime pacifist and a Jew, Einstein became the target of hostility in Weimar Germany, where many citizens were suffering plummeting economic fortunes in the aftermath of defeat in the Great War.
In December 1932, a month before Adolf Hitler became chancellor of Germany, Einstein made the decision to emigrate to the United States, where he took a position at the newly founded Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. In addition to his work in physics, Einstein also made contributions in other areas such as political activism and philosophy.
It was in Switzerland where Einstein received most of his formal education.
Einstein’s work also laid vital groundwork for the evolution of modern physics.

Einstein’s Miracle Year (1905)
While working at the patent office, Einstein did some of the most creative work of his life, producing no fewer than four groundbreaking articles in 1905 alone.
He found that the motion of the particles will in time experience a forward movement. Einstein's theories revolutionized the field of physics and challenged traditional beliefs about space and time. In this article, we will take a closer look at his life, his achievements, and his lasting impact on the world.
In terms of family, Einstein had three children, adding another layer to his personal history.
He married Mileva Maric in 1903, a fellow physics student he met while studying in Zurich.
