Despite the ease of the meditation method, it was not easy for people to understand the principle of the method.
It was on his way home, dragging his exhausted body, that he most missed his father. This was his greatest quandary, and he was certain that happiness did not come from material wealth or fame. Where do people go after they die?” He lived life often pondering upon the futility of man, and the meaning of life and death.
The Path of Seeking Truth
“Simply living out one’s lifetime cannot be all there is.
“In order to teach people, there needed to be a method. Each person lives with suffering and burden, each in their own way. However, Woo Myung finds meaning only when the students attain enlightenment and become free from their suffering – this is the reason he continues to travel to new and unfamiliar places. In January 1996, Woo Myung achieved enlightenment by discarding his own mind world and becoming one with the Universe's mind. I also pondered why we all come into the world but only some people become saints, while others such as myself are just ordinary people.”
