Ch 18.Dealing with Banu Qaynaqa^
After the great Battle of Badr God exposed the treachery of the Jewish tribes of Madinah who had made a treaty with the Muslims.
In those days in Makkah, women wanted their children nursed by Bedouins who lived outside of the city. Muhammad and his followers then proceeded to destroy all of the statues of pagan gods in and around the Kaaba.
The Death of Muhammad
After the conflict with Mecca was finally settled, Muhammad took his first true Islamic pilgrimage to that city and in March, 632, he delivered his last sermon at Mount Arafat.
By the time Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was 25 years old, he was known in Makkah by the name of ”al-Amin” (The trustworthy), because of his good traits. They were jealous, felt threatened by the victorious Muslims. It is believed to have been built by Abraham (Ibrahim to Muslims) and his son Ismail. Her name was Halimah.
He cleansed the Kaaba of idols and restored it as a center of monotheistic worship.
In 632 CE, Prophet Muhammad (SA) performed his Farewell Pilgrimage and delivered the Farewell Sermon, emphasizing:
The sanctity of life and property
Racial and social equality
Women’s rights
Faithfulness to the Qur’an and his Sunnah
Shortly after, he passed away in Medina at the age of 63, leaving behind a united Arabia and a comprehensive faith.
A Legacy of Unmatched Influence
The Prophet’s death did not halt the spread of Islam.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had never told a lie. Among our ranks are book authors and award-winning journalists. His message also emphasized justice, compassion, charity, and care for orphans, the poor, and the oppressed.
Persecution and the Hijrah (Migration)
Initially, Prophet Muhammad (SA) shared the revelations privately. It is recited, memorized, and studied across the world in the same Arabic language as revealed.
