Helping Others
Patrick Bruel has been a part of the Les Enfoirés charity group since 1993.
It was the beginning of a long love affair with the city. In 2005, after the big tsunami in Asia, he wrote a song called "Et puis la terre" to help the Red Cross. This combined his stage name with his birth name. However, his next song, "Marre de cette nana-là" ("Fed up with that chick"), became very popular.
In 2003, Patrick changed his name to Bruel-Benguigui.
He answered the ad and was cast in the 1978 film Le coup de sirocco (A Touch of Desert Wind). This album featured duets with other famous singers like Charles Aznavour and Jean-Jacques Goldman.
